Stakeholder mapping Application and data visualization

The Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat (NNFSS) within the National Planning Commission (NPC) partner with multi-stakeholder and domain experts from many organizations for the creation, management and maintenance of a website serving as the "Nepal Nutrition Portal and Food Security Portal". The project implementation involves various applied research and development works that require integration of diverse data and information, interpretation of various forms of information and knowledge, such as historical databases, technical reports, maps and statistical databases. In order to fill this gap, the creation of an online Nepal Nutrition and Food Security Portal has been proposed for which financial support is provided by the UN interagency initiative REACH.

INSEC Report Visualization

Insec Human Rights Violation System is a desktop based application which runs over a distributed database across 5 development regions of Nepal. These databases are interlinked to each other through VPN and the data and library data are synchronized through built in process within the system. Users from different parts of the country collect form-based Human rights violation data and feed them to the system. The system is capable of creating custom reports based on the inputs from the user for e.g. "What columns to show", "what rows to show", "Show as a count/average/sum" and other interesting functionalities by using Excel based pivoting technique.

WWF Nepal Web GIS Portal

Interactive GIS based application shows the various activities of WWF on map with region, district, protected areas, buffer zone related information. The application is capable of presenting projects and statistics on map dynamically. Administrator can add additional data later from the backend content management system. The application itself helps to understand the gap of activities at project planning, field implementation level and thus provides a basis for future activity planning. It further acts as a platform to share and disseminate the outcomes and information to government, donors, civil societies and other stakeholders.

Child right case recording and referral app

The app is a form of means to collect the child right incidents as it happens. It records the incidents and stores data in the remote database further depending on the category of the incident app automatically send notification or SMS to the converned departments.

NIBL iOS and Android App

Features:
1. Depository Participants (DP): Clients holding the Demat/Benefial Owner account can login into the system and view certain features as in online web based application.
2. IPO information: This section helps user to check IPO general information along with applied and allotted details.
3. Mutual Fund: Net Assets Value (NAV) are published in a week and a month. These are available in web application in chart and tabular format which will show in app. If the data in format are available we will try to show the chart dynamically.
4. Portfolio Management Service (PMS): PMS account holder can login to the system and access account details
5. Nepse information: This section provides information on NEPSE.

ODK based data collection app

Customized tool for data collection helps gather online data using android mobile devices. As data is inserted into digital devices directly during surveys, it reduces chances of human error while entering data collected on papers. Moreover, certain data such as actual physical location from where the data is gathered (e.g. longitude, latitudes) can directly be captured on the devices.

Our platform provides both subjective and objective data gathering directly into devices. This is faster than traditional approach of data collection as it does not require re-entry of collected data into the system. Product has offline saving capabilities for environments with no internet connectivity. Collected data can either directly be sent to the server or can be saved for future review on the device itself. Data can be saved partially or fully on the device and can be edited further before being sent to the server. This provides flexibility in terms of continuity of work from previous left over and direct data upload to the server.

The collected data are regularly monitored, back-up locally and instruct enumerators on sent data to the server. Collected data were analyzed and generated various queries to get the output on indicators and indexes.

It is an interactive room searching platform that integrates apartment listings and social apps to bring people together when searching for their next apartment.

Event & Training Database Application

The application proved very useful after the massive 2015 earthquake. The database provides information on past and future events, trainings and trained resources. The details of trained human resources can be searchable by an employee's identification number, name, address and trained courses from the database. The application helps human resource management to identify the distribution of skilled resources and training activities, identify gap of training activities by skill set and thus provide a basis for future training activity planning.
